Job Description
Live Assets | IT Staffing Solutions is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our client’s IT Web Development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and customise Shopify Plus themes and applications.
• Implement high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code across storefront components.
• Serve as the technical expert for integrations between Shopify and legacy systems (ERP, WMS, PIM, MRP).
• Support the overall migration to a new platform and ensure seamless data flow and system compatibility.
• Improvise the performance, speed, and scalability of the Shopify storefront.
• Conduct regular audits and implement best practices for site performance and SEO.
• Implement automated testing practices to ensure code quality and platform stability.
• Collaborate with product managers, program managers, and UX/UI designers to ensure technical feasibility and roadmap alignment.

Necessary Skills

• 5+ years of web development experience, with at least 3 years focused on Shopify, Shopify Markets and utilization of Shopify APIs.
• Proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Tailwind CSS.
• Experience with Node.js and GraphQL.
• Experience with project management tools, preferably Asana or Jira.
• Good understanding of e-commerce best practices, with a focus on performance and customer experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile, startup-like environment.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset and commitment to high-quality code.
• Excellent communication, and problem-solving Skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD workflows, and headless implementations.
• Experience with AI-powered tools.
• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails and Alpine.js.
