Overview

CREASU Canada manages an Appraisers Evaluation Process that monitors external appraiser performance for commercial real estate transactions. The role evaluates environmental risks, policy compliance, and prepares reports for Canadian real estate financing under the Environmental & Social Risk Policy.

Responsibilities
  • Review commercial real estate appraisal reports for purchase/sale, lease, and restrictive agreements.
  • Evaluate environmental risk factors and concerns.
  • Assess policy, operating procedures, financing guidelines, and regulatory standards for applicability to proposed transactions.
  • Prepare environment reports for Canadian Real Estate Financing per the Environmental & Social Risk Policy.
  • Update appraisal policies and collaborate cross‑functionally to publish Canadian appraisal policy.
  • Maintain Elevated Security List.
Qualifications3>
  • Seven or more years of relevant experience with a postsecondary degree in a related field, or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of credit qualifications and associated competencies, in line with established qualification standards.
  • Expertise in banking products, services, sector trends, and regulatory developments.
  • Understanding of credit portfolio management policies, standards, and documentation at level 3.
  • Strong communication, relationship management, and organizational skills.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving abilities at an expert level.
  • Data‑driven decision‑making competence.
Compensation

Salary: $94,600.00 – $176,000.00 CAD per year.
