Job description
Overview

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior QA Analyst for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Europe. Our client is a Toronto-based technology company specializing in AI-powered healthcare consumer experience (CX) platforms. The company is developing systems that predict user behavior in health programs by aggregating historical engagement data into models. Additionally, they are working on personalizing user content by analyzing user profiles and previous interactions with content. These innovations aim to tailor health program recommendations and content delivery to individual needs. It offers health insurance, employee health benefits, digital health services, patient engagement and care, consumer health services, and other benefits. The company has evolved from serving employers to supporting payers, providers, and consumer health partners across the U.S., Canada, and Asia-Pacific.

You will be responsible for creating and executing a functional, end-to-end (E2E) integration testing strategy, as well as developing automation scripts. There is a 50 / 50 ratio between auto & manual testing (the team just onboarded a few automation engineers, so they are kick-starting that initiative). The position requires an overlap till 7-8 PM CET.

Responsibilities
  • Perform manual testing, execute automated tests, review results, and debug failures.
  • Serve as primary tester on implementation projects.
  • Develop and maintain test plans and test cases following project and technical requirements.
  • Identify, document, and prioritize defects using Jira.
  • Add functionality to test cases using an automated test framework / suite.
  • Review automated test case execution results and analyze results to identify potential issues.
  • Conduct peer reviews of test cases to ensure depth and breadth of test coverage.
  • Create and execute functional, integration / E2E test cases to validate business systems across iOS, Android, and web devices.
  • Ensure the products meet high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and the project team to understand requirements.
  • Execute automated test scripts and analyze results to identify defects and report issues.
  • Work closely with the engineering team; track development progress and identify risks and issues related to quality deliverables.

Security-related responsibilities :

  • Follow compliance with information security policies.
  • Adhere to the secure coding practice.
  • Take responsibility and accountability for executing the policies and procedures.
  • Consider notification of HR, legal, compliance & security of any incidents, breaches, or policy violations.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in quality assurance.
  • Hands-on experience testing on mobile devices (iOS and Android).
  • Knowledge of the applications to craft the right test strategy & cases.
  • Strong understanding of manual testing, including functional, integration, E2E, and regression testing.
  • Experience running test automation and reviewing results.
  • Expertise in writing test plans, test cases, and following processes.
  • Understanding of programming languages.
  • Ability to understand business requirements and develop comprehensive test scenarios that include positive and negative testing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Desired outcomes (metrics & KPIs)
  • 100 test executions on time.
  • No critical / high defects were released to customer UAT & Launch.
We offer
  • US and EU projects based on advanced technologies.
  • Competitive compensation based on skills and experience.
  • Regular performance appraisals to support your growth.
  • Flexibility in workspace, either remote or our welcoming office.
  • Bonuses for article writing, public talks, and other activities.
  • Generous time off, including vacation, national holidays, sick leaves, and family days.
  • Personalized learning programs tailored to your interests and skill development.
