Job Description
One of our engineering clients is looking for a Project Manager with extensive experience in the Nuclear industry to work at the Bruce Power Site.
Salary Range: Hourly (negotiable) – Contract role - Long-Term

Job Responsibilities

  1. Project safety, contract management, quality, planning, budget, schedule, cost control, change management, engineering, procurement and construction commissioning
  2. Leadership of multidisciplinary project teams
  3. Actively contribute in the process to select and contract a firm to do engineering, procurement and perform construction management consistent with corporate goals
  4. Proactive management utilizing planning, innovation, productivity improvement to exceed expectations
  5. Relationship management of project stakeholders including: Owners, clients, financiers, owner’s and bankers engineers, joint venture partners, project team, suppliers, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities, landowners, etc.
  6. Timely project reporting, with status on safety, quality, project progress and productivity measured against plan and physical completion, schedule, and budget
  7. Leadership of project proposals and bids for new work

Education and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
  2. 8 years of related project and construction industry experience
  3. Experience in nuclear power or power projects
  4. Nuclear Clearance
