Job summary

An international automotive manufacturer in Windsor, Ontario, is seeking candidates for a role requiring a College Diploma and a minimum of 2 years in Engineering or Manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include coaching Manufacturing Work Groups, applying operating systems, and coordinating continuous improvement activities. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and expertise in Lean Manufacturing principles. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and analytical skills, working in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Engineering or Manufacturing operations.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience, demonstrating leadership.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Constraint Management principles.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and support Manufacturing Work Groups (MWG).
  • Understand and consistently apply standard manufacturing operating systems.
  • Support Work Groups for countermeasures of abnormalities.
  • Validate operational needs to ensure quality production.
  • Plan and coordinate Kaizen activities for improvement.
  • Foster effective communication and recognition.
  • Build capability of Team Leaders and Members.
  • Create a conducive work environment.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities for safety and quality.
