Job summary

A leading technology company in Montreal is seeking a Pega Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration and support of the Pega platform, ensuring optimal performance and security. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, 5+ years' experience in Pega BPM, and be Pega Certified Senior System Architects. This is an on-site role, requiring presence in the Montreal office three times a week.

Job description

This role is open for relocation candidates, first round video, Second round onsite in Montreal office.

Years of Experience: 5-7 yrs.

Location: Montreal (Day 1 onboarding onsite / in office presence 3x week).

Department

Operations Technology (OT). The Workflow Orchestration area that houses the Community of Practice also has several development teams providing Pega transformation solutions supporting Operations. As a Pega Developer, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of our Pega platform, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our business‑critical applications. You will work closely with our development teams, business stakeholders, and other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal use of the Pega platform.

Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience with Pega BPM
  • Well versed with SDLC, Agile, CD&CI methodologies
  • Pega Certified Senior System Architect
  • Experience with Pega application development
  • Experience with Pega system administration, including installation, configuration, and upgrade
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills, with ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions
  • Expertise on various integration technologies like SOAP, REST, MQ, TCP, HTTP
Desired Skills
  • 2+ years of experience as a Pega Administrator or similar role
  • Hands‑on Java experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of Linux and shell scripting
  • Knowledge of writing SQL queries
