Job summary

A leading engineering company is seeking a Risk and Reliability Engineer in Markham. This role involves developing predictive models and ensuring the safety and reliability of nuclear plant designs. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a P. Eng license in Ontario, and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. The position includes providing technical guidance and collaborating across various teams to enhance nuclear safety. Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively are essential. This position requires onsite presence two days a week.

Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in PRA fundamental skills such as Data and Human Reliability Analysis.
  • Proven problem analysis skills with demonstrated ability to communicate results clearly.
  • M.S. or Ph.D. in nuclear engineering discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop PRA models and conduct analyses for nuclear plant safety.
  • Interface with disciplines to advance risk-informed designs.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to engineers.
