Job Location :

CPC Engineering is a multi-disciplined engineering design, construction and project management company that has developed a reputation for delivering professional, practical and cost effective services to the resource industry.

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Engineer vacancy. The applicant shall have a degree in Mechanical Engineering, with experience in the mining and mineral processing industries. The position will be a key member of an experienced team covering a diverse range of projects.

Attractive package with (optional) compressed work (9 day) fortnight scheme.

Education and Experience
  • Significant (10) years experience in the field, with wet plant / concentrator experience preferred
  • Engineering delivery experience
  • Knowledge of a range of processes and unit operations
  • Ability to produce estimates and proposals
  • Ability to coordinate studies and small projects, including change management
Core Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop mechanical engineering deliverables including package engineering, calculations and plant design
  • Provide project review of mechanical deliverables
  • Coordinate design and drafting people
  • Review delivery progress and schedule
Additional Requirements
  • Working in team environment
  • Allocating work to others and monitoring progress thereof
  • Knowledge of databases and version control
  • High level communication skills – written and verbal
  • Strong computer literacy skills in microsoft office and typical engineering software (Sidewinder and Fluidflow)
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills for systems and follow up
  • Willingness to travel if required
