Job Description

What is the opportunity?

Senior Manager, Vulnerability & Threat Assessment, plays a pivotal role in safeguarding RBC’s digital ecosystem by proactively identifying, prioritizing, and tracking vulnerabilities and emerging threats remediation. This opportunity allows you to lead critical initiatives, such as managing Zero-Day vulnerabilities, driving executive reporting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, to strengthen RBC’s security posture and resilience. This role requires a proactive leader who can coordinate with multiple stakeholders, ensure timely reporting, and drive effective remediation strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Zero-Day and Emerging Vulnerabilities Management
  • Vulnerability Management Service Desk Oversight.
  • Executive Reporting on Vulnerabilities & Remediation
  • Coordination with Patching & other remediation Partners.
  • Audit and Control Testing Coordination.
  • Organize and lead weekly forums to discuss vulnerability management updates, challenges, and progress
  • Identify opportunities to enhance vulnerability management processes through automation and innovation.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including IT teams
Qualifications

What do you need to succeed?

  • Must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CEH are highly desirable
  • 7+ years of experience in IT risk management, cybersecurity, or vulnerability management
  • Proven track record of managing Zero-Day vulnerabilities and emerging threats
  • Experience in executive reporting and stakeholder management.
  • Strong understanding of vulnerability management tools (e.g., Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7)
  • Knowledge of patch management processes and tools
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical audiences
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making

Nice to have:

  • Reporting Experience using Tableau
  • Experience of using Agentic AI for Vulnerability Management
  • Familiarity with IT risk frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT)
