Job Description
Senior Manager, Engagement & Delivery, Retirement, Benefits and Well‑Being (RBW) team within Total Rewards. Drives colleague awareness, perceived value, and effective use of RBW programs. Ensures programs delivered efficiently, accurately, and compliantly through a simplified, technology‑enabled operating model.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategy for colleague awareness, education, and engagement in RBW programs, aligned with Total Rewards and TD Culture.
- Design and deliver a multi‑channel education framework (campaigns, webinars, decision‑support tools, manager toolkits) to help colleagues make informed choices at key life and career moments.
- Influence selection and promotion of vendor decision‑support tools and self‑service resources simplifying complex benefit and retirement choices.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team to achieve operational excellence and a strong colleague experience.
- Optimize internal delivery model for RBW programs, including administration processes, SLAs, and governance.
- Define and track operational metrics (data accuracy, SLAs, case volumes) and drive continuous improvement to reduce manual work and errors.
- Maintain a simplified delivery model clarifying roles, hand‑offs, and ownership across RBW Canada, HR Operations, and external providers.
- Lead process optimization, automation, and digitization initiatives (self‑service, workflow, system integrations, document automation), including building business cases for related investments.
- Assess and recommend outsourcing, co‑sourcing, or insourcing options to maximize business value, balancing cost, risk, service quality, and colleague experience.
- Ensure administration practices and communications comply with pension, tax, employment, privacy, and human rights requirements, in partnership with RBW COE, Legal, and Compliance.
- Maintain controls, documentation, and audit readiness for plans and processes, and provide regular reporting and insights to RBW leadership.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree required; graduate degree or certification in HR, benefits, retirement, or related specialization is an asset.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with significant expertise in program management and governance, including compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Experience designing and delivering colleague engagement and education strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize teams, processes, and frameworks with experience in automation and digitization.
- Strong analytical skills for tracking metrics, driving continuous improvement, and building business cases.
- Demonstrated success leading and developing high‑performing teams.
- Ability to influence cross‑functional partners and senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to translate complex concepts into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies.
- Strategic mindset, able to anticipate emerging trends and integrate enterprise strategy into program design.
