Qualifications

• Experience in large quantity food preparation, preferably in a healthcare or retirement setting.
• Knowledgeable of the Provincial Food Premises Regulation and Canada’s Food Guide to Healthy Eating.
• Physically able to lift and transfer heavy, hot items and stand for the majority of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver all foods for residents, guests, and employees.
• Review menus before preparing meals and serve them properly.
• Ensure proper food handling techniques are used.
