As a senior member of the team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, establish technical specifications, and deliver solutions that meet business needs. You will also take the lead in mentoring junior developers, providing guidance on best practices, and fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement. Our ideal candidate has a deep understanding of Java and its ecosystems, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within specifications.

In this role you will

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications and microservices
• Lead the architecture and design decisions for new applications and enhancements
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
• Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers

Required skills

• Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in Java/J2EE, Java API, java-based applications, Java Spring Boot, Restful APIs, SQL Server
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
• Experience with Spring framework and related technologies
• Proficiency in using databases, SQL, and ORM technologies like Hibernate
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Preferred skills

• Apache Kafka, MQ knowledge added advantage
