Job Description

Qualifications
  • Knowledge & understanding of LiDAR and its field and office application is a must
  • Knowledge of forest engineering and timber development, including harvest planning, road layout & design, and deflection line analysis.
  • Knowledge of coastal harvest & silvicultural systems.
  • Physically fit and interested in working in outdoor climates year-round.
  • Knowledge and understanding of navigational tools, maps, GPS surveys and applications, and general computer skills (MS Office, RoadEng, and ArcGIS).
  • Must be able to work camp shifts.
  • Registration with the FPBC as an RPF, RFT, FIT, TFT, etc., would be an asset.
Compensation
  • Hourly compensation ranges from $27.50 - $38.00 depending on experience.
