Job summary

A Canadian LNG project management firm is seeking a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Specialist to oversee the engineering, construction, and commissioning phases of their facility near Squamish, BC. This role requires a diploma in Instrumentation Engineering Technology, a minimum of 10 years of experience in major capital projects in the Oil & Gas sector, and exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. The position involves coordination with multi-disciplinary teams and oversight of technical compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years of experience in major capital projects in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience working with large multi-disciplinary teams is an asset.
• Willingness to see the project through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Support the Engineering Manager and interface with contractors.
• Act as the technical authority for instrumentation and control systems.
• Oversee EPC contractor performance for instrumentation and control scope.
