Job summary

A global confectionery company is seeking a Senior Health & Safety Specialist in Brantford, Ontario. This role involves developing and managing Health & Safety systems, ensuring compliance, and fostering a proactive safety culture within the organization. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in Health & Safety within a manufacturing environment and must possess relevant certifications. This position requires onsite presence five days a week.

Qualifications

• 8–11 years of progressive Health & Safety experience in manufacturing/industrial.
• Level 1 and 2 Certification required.
• Strong knowledge of OHSA and WSIB regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Health & Safety policies and training programs.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for safety standards.
• Manage WSIB claims and return-to-work plans.
• Lead incident investigations and analyze injury trends.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations through audits.
