We are seeking an experienced marketing leader to drive acquisition and conversion strategies within the insurance industry. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, lead cross-functional teams, and optimize performance to generate qualified leads and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing, exceptional analytical skills, and proven success in leading within matrix organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with internal business and distribution partners to craft marketing campaign vision and strategic opportunities to grow revenue.
  • Represent the marketing team in executive meetings, providing insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to innovate and improve marketing tactics.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to grow and optimize marketing strategies based on insights.
  • Drive the development and execution of detailed marketing plans that generate qualified leads and impactful revenue outcomes.
  • Plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns across direct mail, email, content, paid media, and other channels.
  • Collaborate with internal business units, global and segment teams, and external agencies to create compelling product narratives and go-to-market campaigns.
  • Develop and implement strategic frameworks and roadmaps for marketing initiatives.
  • Deeply understand target segments’ challenges and effectively communicate how products solve those problems.
  • Align marketing efforts with sales objectives to ensure campaigns and messaging enhance consumer communications.
  • Develop and implement measurement frameworks, KPIs, and metrics for marketing channels.
  • Analyze campaign and conversion data to measure effectiveness and optimize performance.
  • Manage the acquisition marketing budget, ensuring accurate allocation and reforecasting for maximum ROI / ROAS.
  • Drive media buying and marketing program optimizations, partnering with performance, digital, agency, and analytics teams.
  • Provide recommendations for targeting strategy and segmentation based on CAC, LTV, and ROI insights.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and the sales team to improve conversion rates and address progression challenges.
  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships to ensure projects are delivered with executional excellence.
  • Support RFPs and pitch content creation from the marketing team.
  • Own marketing budget allocation and planning to support expense management.
Required Qualifications
  • 7-10+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong focus on acquisition and conversion in the insurance industry.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and working within matrix organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of digital and traditional marketing strategies (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, print, direct mail).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience in building measurement frameworks, establishing KPIs, and metrics for acquisition channels.
Preferred Qualifications
  • French bilingual fluency is considered an asset.
  • Experience working with Canadian travel agencies and the insurance industry is preferred.
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
