Job summary

A leading industrial distributor in Vaughan is seeking a Financial Analyst to assist in financial planning and analysis. This role includes developing financial forecasts, preparing reports, and tracking capital expenditures. The ideal candidate will hold a university degree in Finance or Accounting, have a CPA designation or in progress, and possess at least 4-5 years of experience, with strong skills in MS Excel and data analysis. Qualifications

  • Completion of a university degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Commerce.
  • Must be working towards or possess a CPA designation.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of work experience.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in Financial Planning and Analysis role is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in development of annual plans and financial forecasts.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly P&L variance analysis with commentary.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and develop ad-hoc KPI dashboards.
  • Track monthly capital expenditures and develop Capital Appropriation Requests.
