Job description
Position Goal

This position will improve processes and reports to navigate the emerging and changing tariff landscape.

  • This position will assist in the monthly financial close process and other special project as assigned.
Essential Functions
  • Collaborate with team members to improve existing reports to increase efficiencies.
  • Focus on establishing streamlined processes including data capture and reporting automation
  • Assist in preparing documents for external audits
  • Assist with monthly Financial close process including monitoring account activity and performing reconciliations
  • Preparing ad hoc tariff related requests to support other departments and customer needs
Qualifications
  • University degree or equivalent education in finance.
  • Proficiency in Power Query (required)
  • Proficiency in Power BI (required)
  • Knowledge of Bill of Materials (considered an asset)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and a demonstrated ability to learn new systems
