LabX Media Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance and Accounting team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role serves as a key strategic partner to senior leadership and department heads across the organization.

You will lead core financial functions, provide high-level financial insights, and proactively support business decisions that influence both operational performance and long-term strategy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and wants to make a tangible impact on the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for multiple business units and legal entities, delivering insights that drive performance.
• Own the end-to-end budget and forecasting cycle, working closely with Business Unit leaders and executive stakeholders.
• Provide decision-support analysis on business initiatives, pricing, profitability, and capital investment projects.
• Monitor and interpret performance metrics, identifying key variances and offering data-backed recommendations for improvements.
• Act as a subject matter expert and system owner within the ERP (NetSuite), developing dashboards and automating reporting processes.
• Manage financial modeling and scenario planning in support of long-term strategy and M&A opportunities without needing much supervision.
• Support investor reporting and Board-level presentations, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with strategic goals.
• Champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and control frameworks.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to building a high-performing finance culture.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of progressive experience in Finance or Accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior, high-accountability role.
• A university degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business. CPA designation (CA, CMA, CGA) strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar ERP is an asset.
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong business acumen and communication skills - able to distill complex financial data into actionable insights for non-finance audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Proactive and capable of managing responsibilities autonomously.
