Position

Senior Field Service Representative is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to clients while installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments. This on-site role covers Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Northern Ontario, reporting to the Beckman Coulter District Manager and part of the Canada Central team.

Responsibilities
  • Independently serve customers by performing troubleshooting, repair, installation, validation, and preventive maintenance on designated instrumentation.
  • Complete timely and accurate preventive maintenance, field modifications, instrument repairs, and service documentation. Deliver exceptional customer service to Beckman Coulter clients, including technical training on diagnostic products and systems.
  • Focus on customer needs and satisfaction, building and enhancing the relationship to become a trusted partner in their business. Travel throughout the district’s territory and across Canada to various sites where instrumentation is utilized.
Qualifications
  • Technical diploma or higher in Biomedical Engineering Technology or Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of relatable experience (field service experience preferred).
  • Ability to travel to and from the United States, hold a valid driver’s license, and meet Beckman Coulter’s safe driver criteria in compliance with the Danaher Company Vehicle Policy and vendor credentialing requirements (including annual background checks, immunizations, and required training).
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; travel up to 70% of the time including overnight travel within the service district and occasionally to other districts in Canada. Must be able to lift, lower, and carry up to 50 lbs unassisted. Physical requirements include bending, stooping, twisting, turning, crouching, pushing/pulling, and prolonged sitting or standing. Ability to reach at, above, and below shoulder level and good hand/finger dexterity.
Preferred experience
  • Servicing instrumentation in hematology, chemistry, or immunochemistry.
  • Experience servicing chemistry, immunochemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and lab automation.
Work arrangement and compensation

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics supports flexible, remote working arrangements for eligible roles. This position is eligible for a remote work arrangement from your home; additional information will be provided by the interview team.

Salary range: CAD 85,000.00 – 95,000.00. This range is in good faith at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
