Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant practical experience; higher degrees can supplement.
• Previous experience with LEO/MEO satellite systems.
• Familiarity with FMECAs and/or Fault Tree Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Define fault detection actions for systems and subsystems.
• Document interactions with payload for satellite level FDIR.
• Work with operations team on contingency scenarios involving FDIR.

Skills

Cross-functional team collaboration

Analysis of satellite systems and subsystems

Understanding of failure propagation

Knowledge of satellite FSW

Testing HW and SW for FDIR

Education

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer science
