A major Canadian airline is seeking a Senior Powerplant Engineer in Calgary, AB. This role involves managing the Aircraft Engine Program, ensuring technical compliance and mentoring team members. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, at least 6 years of experience with large commercial aircraft engines, and strong proficiency in maintenance tracking systems. This full-time position requires in-person collaboration up to five days a week.

Reporting to the Director Heavy Maintenance & Powerplant, the Senior Powerplant Engineer is responsible for the engineering management as related to the WestJet Aircraft Engine Program which includes configuration management, maintenance forecasting, cost forecasting/management, off-wing ownership control and liaising with Engine OEM/Repair vendors.
