A leading engineering consultancy in Alberta is seeking a Senior Engineer with extensive experience in municipal and land development projects. The role involves managing technical engineering work, client engagement, and mentoring junior staff. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and at least 15 years of relevant experience. WSP is currently seeking an experienced Senior Engineer, with a strong background in municipal and land development engineering. The position is available in our Calgary, Edmonton, Lethbridge, or Red Deer offices. Project work contributing to projects from small to large scale throughout Alberta, and potentially across Canada, and the Americas. This opportunity presents the successful candidate with a chance to work primarily on engineering assignments with minimal administrative or management functions.
This role is ideal for a senior engineering professional who thrives working on complex municipal infrastructure projects for public clients, land developers and at industrial facilities while directly engaging with clients and approval agencies. The successful candidate will provide senior technical review and leadership, mentoring junior professionals and technical staff through the project life cycle from planning and pre‑feasibility study to preliminary and detailed engineering design and construction support.
