As the Senior Director, Talent Excellence, you will lead the evolution of how we attract, develop, and empower exceptional people to thrive and make a difference. Reporting to the Chief People and Transformation Officer, you’ll champion a people-first vision — one that blends curiosity, care, and bold thinking — to shape the future of work at Compass Group.

Responsibilities
  • Craft and execute a cohesive Talent Strategy that aligns with business goals and culture.
  • Partner with senior leaders to anticipate capability needs and build organizational readiness.
  • Lead a high-performing team of talent acquisition (hourly and salaried), learning, and development professionals.
  • Integrate data and technology to drive intelligent talent insights and measurable impact.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and storyteller — influencing leaders to think differently about people, potential, and growth.
  • Inspire innovation in how we recruit, develop, and retain the best talent in the industry.
  • Model transparent, accountable leadership – building trust through authenticity.
  • Create a culture of ownership where people feel both supported and challenged to do their best.
Qualifications
  • An authentic leader with deep expertise in at least two of the three domains: talent acquisition, learning & development, and/or talent management.
  • A strategic thinker who can connect culture, business strategy, and people growth in powerful ways.

  • 10+ years of progressive HR/talent experience with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
