Role accountabilities:

  • Liaison between Clients, Client Project Managers, General Contractors/Construction Managers, Suppliers, Authorities Having Jurisdiction and Sub-Consultants
  • Provide technical, construction and OBC expertise to staff
  • Work with the internal technical standards team to maintain and implement changes to design and technical standards. Work with team to communicate updates to office.
  • Mentor junior and intermediate staff on construction administration responsibilities, site reviews, and working drawing production (specifically proper detailing and how to handle complicated designs)
  • Organize and manage Revit Project practices for all studios (such as templates, drawing set-up, standards, etc.)
  • Prepare overall project budgets, review and comment on GC/CM provided construction budgets
  • Prepare, monitor and update internal project budgets and workplans
  • Prepare, monitor and update project schedules
  • Prepare, monitor and update risk registers
  • Review and issue monthly project billings
  • Prepare/review construction documents and specifications
  • Coordinate with sub-consultants and internal team to ensure a coordinated and accurate set of construction documents
  • Prepare and submit building permit applications
  • Perform all typical Construction Administrative responsibilities (i.e. tender administration/support, preparing SI's, CCN'S, CD's, etc., reviewing and coordinating shop drawing reviews, attend weekly construction meetings, perform site visits, prepare site visits reports, etc.)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Possess excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility and resourcefulness
  • 10+ years experience managing commercial interiors or fit-out projects
  • A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architectural Technology, Architecture or related field
  • Excellent Revit and AutoCAD abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite programs (Word, Excel, Project, etc.)
  • 10+ years experience working with general contractors and construction managers in the field

The salary range for this position is CAD$89,600 - CAD$134,400. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
