Your Opportunity

Our Ottawa or Toronto office is seeking a Senior Consultant, Strategic Procurement Services to join our management consulting team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering strategic procurement services to our clients. This position requires a deep understanding of procurement processes; is a self-starter with strong analytical skills, and has the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members. In this role, you will own the following responsibilities :

  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic procurement plans, RFx documents.
  • Conduct market analysis and supplier evaluations.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve procurement processes and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their procurement needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Lead and participate in client meetings and presentations.
  • Support the management team in project planning and execution.

Your experience and education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in procurement or management consulting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.

Preferred Certifications and Skills

  • Familiarity with public-sector procurement practices
  • Proficiency in contract management and vendor relationship management.
  • NISCL certification
  • Experience with strategic sourcing and spend assessments
  • Knowledge of procurement risk assessment and compliance
  • Strong project management skills
