As a Sr. Cloud Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions that meet the needs and requirements of our organization. Our SaaS products are essential for our customers, and you will work with a multidisciplinary team of cloud engineers, development, design, architecture, and quality assurance teams to implement and support new features and enhancements. You will lead projects aimed at improving automation, optimizing system performance, ensuring stability and reliability, increasing efficiency, and enhancing security measures to protect sensitive data and applications. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement best practices, tools, and processes to ensure that our systems meet the highest standards of excellence in cloud engineering. The team will also be entrusting you with helping to scale the team by mentoring cloud operation engineers and monitoring the quality of the service.
    What you will be doing:
    • Develop, deploy, and maintain complex cloud infrastructure, applications, and services
    • Lead the implementation and maintenance of automated processes for deployment, scaling, and monitoring of systems
    • Automate and optimize infrastructure and processes to improve stability, reliability, and efficiency
    • Implement and maintain security measures and best practices to ensure the protection of sensitive data and applications
    • Continuously monitor and improve system performance and availability
    • Identify and troubleshoot complex issues with systems and applications
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and operation of systems
    • Manage incident response and root cause analysis processes
    • Mentor junior engineers to improve their cloud engineering skills and contribute to the growth of the team
    What you will bring:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
    • 7+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or a related field
    • Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies and services such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, IBM Cloud
    • Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible
    • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
    • Experience with at least one programming language (e.g. Python, JavaScript, C#, Java)
    • Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
    • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Datadog, Grafana, New Relic, Splunk)
    • Experience with directory service or identity and access management
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills
