We are seeking to hire a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst who also possesses strong project support skills. The ideal candidate will be looking for a dual role where they can lead analysis efforts and support project management requirements as needed. This role requires someone with a proven track record in gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing business processes, and making informed recommendations. Additionally, the candidate should have a deep understanding of project lifecycles and the ability to support project managers in achieving objectives within scope, time, and budget constraints. Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate requirements gathering sessions.
• Analyze and document business processes, data flows, and system interactions.
• Develop clear and concise functional and non-functional specifications.
• Support project managers in planning, executing, and closing IT projects.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders and project teams.
• Ensure compliance with educational regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, specifically within the post-secondary and / or education sector, with a strong background in IT business analysis.
• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies and tools.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• CBAP / CCBA and / or project management training (e.g., PMI-PBA or IIBA-CBAP certification).
• Experience working on Security and Infrastructure specific projects, ideally with Azure.
• Strong requirements gathering skills, including conducting workshops.
• Strong business process skills, with an emphasis on business process re-engineering and experience with process mapping.
• Experience with gap analysis, including creating and maintaining documentation such as current state, future state, and gap analysis documentation.
• Experience working on projects involving application / package selection.
