Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs powering Glassdome’s core platform, with a strong focus on developing our next- generation LLM-powered services.
Collaborate with frontend, product, and data teams to deliver features end-to-end, including integrating AI-driven solutions for manufacturers.
Deploy, monitor, and optimize Kubernetes-based backend applications for production usage, leveraging our existing infrastructure while building new LLM-powered experiences.
Integrate with IoT sensors, manufacturing equipment, enterprise systems, and LLM APIs to handle large-scale real-time data and enable AI-enhanced functionalities.
Ensure high reliability, scalability, and security across cloud environments, maintaining the platform while innovating on backend systems for AI-driven manufacturing solutions.
4+ years of production backend software development experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong proficiency in one or more backend (e.g., Golang, Python, Node.js, or Java).
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
Strong foundation in databases (SQL and NoSQL) and distributed systems.
Experience with LLMs and their APIs, including OpenAI OSS models, building RAG systems, and function/tool-related backend tools and systems.
Must reside in the United States and be able to commute to Vancouver, WA.
Experience with B2B SaaS application development at a startup or growth-stage company.
Production development experience with Golang.
Familiarity with MQTT, Kafka, or other data streaming protocols.
Experience with industrial/manufacturing data systems (SCADA, MES, WMS).
