• 4+ years of production backend software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong proficiency in one or more backend (e.g., Golang, Python, Node.js, or Java).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Strong foundation in databases (SQL and NoSQL) and distributed systems.
• Experience with LLMs and their APIs, including OpenAI OSS models, building RAG systems, and function/tool-related backend tools and systems.
• Must reside in the United States and be able to commute to Vancouver, WA.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs powering Glassdome’s core platform, with a strong focus on developing our next- generation LLM-powered services.

• Collaborate with frontend, product, and data teams to deliver features end-to-end, including integrating AI-driven solutions for manufacturers.

• Deploy, monitor, and optimize Kubernetes-based backend applications for production usage, leveraging our existing infrastructure while building new LLM-powered experiences.

• Integrate with IoT sensors, manufacturing equipment, enterprise systems, and LLM APIs to handle large-scale real-time data and enable AI-enhanced functionalities.

• Ensure high reliability, scalability, and security across cloud environments, maintaining the platform while innovating on backend systems for AI-driven manufacturing solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of production backend software development experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Strong proficiency in one or more backend (e.g., Golang, Python, Node.js, or Java).
