Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Senior Specialist, HR Services Procurement, North America! This position can be located in New Brunswick, NJ or Tampa, FL, with a preference for New Jersey.

Position Summary

The Senior Specialist, HR Services Procurement, NA will be responsible for supporting the HR Services categories across Johnson & Johnson’s enterprise. This multifaceted role will support multiple categories inclusive of Contingent Labor, Talent Acquisition, Talent Mobility, Learning & Development, and Benefits. The activities under the categories will be managed in close collaboration with the Director HR Service Procurement, Americas and the Global Category Team and requires collaboration with key stakeholders across all J&J sectors and functions. This role will plan and direct the organization’s activities and deliver against targets for financial performance, quality, and service and compliance adherence, including corporate social responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the development, implementation, and maintenance of processes, policies, guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures, and Business Operating Principles.
  • Lead team meetings and provide updates to Global Procurement Leadership
  • Manage and prioritize portfolio of programs across the sectors and functions. Strong project management skills to ensure successful implementation of complex programs that impact all sectors and functions of J&J.
  • Conduct spend analysis and leverage market intelligence to inform sourcing decisions and optimize supplier performance.
  • Lead pricing and cost initiatives, manage sourcing events, and negotiate contracts for medium to high complexity HR services.
  • Support supplier relationships with strategic partners to include data review and analysis, performance management and development and improvement of end to end value. This is inclusive of driving accountabilities to our SLAs and KPIs as agreed upon in our contractual agreements.
  • Oversee performance of third-party managed service provider to ensure strategic alignment with business priorities, optimize category spend, and maintain service quality across the portfolio.
  • Plan and direct the organization’s activities and deliver against targets for financial performance, quality, service and compliance adherence.
  • Identify and lead regional sourcing projects across a wide range of HR Services sub-categories
Qualifications

Education:

A minimum of a Bachelors or equivalent University degree is required.

Required:

  • A minimum of five (5) years relevant professional work experience.
  • Strong business acumen - Understanding challenges through the eyes of business leaders
  • Proven leadership, teamwork, and influencing skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present complex information
  • Broad-based understanding of core procurement areas of focus including spend management, source-to-pay
  • Strong project and change management experience and capabilities
  • Proven learning agility, improving both yourself and the people around you

Preferred:

  • Preferred experience in Life Sciences, Medical Technology or Supply Chain
  • Demonstrated agile behaviors
  • High level of credibility with internal customers, and with the supplier community, based on broad experience
  • Proven track record in participating in cross-functional teams
  • Multi-category experience with experience across geographies of varied sizes and businesses
  • Flexibility and willingness to respond to changes in the external environment

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated base pay range for this position is : $91,000-$147,200

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program. Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits: Vacation – 120 hours per calendar year; Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – 56 hours per calendar year; Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – 13 days per calendar year; Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child; Condolence Leave – 30 days for an immediate family member: 5 days for an extended family member; Caregiver Leave – 10 days; Volunteer Leave – 4 days; Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours.
