A local employment services provider in Greater Sudbury is seeking an experienced administrative professional to provide support to operations and management. This on-site role involves administrative duties such as filing, data verification, and handling invoices. The ideal candidate has 5-8 years of experience in a fast-paced office environment, with skills in payroll and AR/AP functions. The position is a 12-month contract Monday to Friday, offering the potential for full-time permanent employment.

Job description
Job Duties:
  • Provides administrative support to operations and management team members including filing, data verification, and inventory valuation
  • Assist in daily management review
  • Resolve past‑due invoices and customer claims on a timely basis, including proactive identification of account issues.
  • Support payroll functions
  • Assist operations team members as needed
  • Support AR/AP function
  • Answers all incoming calls in a professional manner, directs all calls, and takes accurate messages.
  • Support other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Our client is looking for an experienced administrative professional who has an understanding of the operational function of the business. The successful candidate would have the following background and skillset:

  • Strong computer skills
  • 5‑8 years of experience in an administrative capacity
  • Multi‑dimensional office experience working in a fast paced environment requiring the need to pivot from one task to another
  • An understanding and experience with the payroll function
  • An understanding and experience with AR/AP
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability and interest in supporting other administrative team members
  • Strong communication skills

This role is an on‑site position in Sudbury, ON. The role is Monday to Friday from 8am-4:30pm and is set as a 12 month contract role with the possibility but no guarantee of Full time permanent.
