About the Opportunity

About the Position
Reporting to the Tax Managers and Partners, responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing US and Canadian individual tax returns with a focus on cross-border filings
  • Assisting with tax planning and advisory work for individuals with US/Canada reporting requirements
  • Supporting research on cross-border tax issues and preparing technical memos
  • Managing client relationships, answering inquiries, and ensuring timely filing of returns
  • Collaborating with Partners and Managers on complex client matters and planning opportunities

The Requirements

  • 1+ year of cross-border US individual tax experience (required)
  • Personal taxation experience (required)
  • Completed CPA or Enrolled Agent designation (asset)
  • US CPA designation (asset)
  • Strong communication and client service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and engagements

Compensation

  • Salary range: $75,000 – $90,000
