Overview

Responsibilities
  • Lead accounting activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Support monthly forecast reviews, project analysis, and ad hoc financial reporting needs.
  • Identify irregularities and provide proactive solutions to mitigate financial risk.
  • Mentor and support junior accounting staff, fostering development and operational excellence.
  • Interpret contracts and documentation to support accurate project setup and compliance.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; in a project-based industry, experience is highly preferred.
  • CPA designation (completed or near completion).
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work with discretion on confidential matters.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with accounting software.
