Summary

The Selling Manager is a member of the Store Management team responsible for executing strategic plans to ensure a profitable store. This role drives sales performance by coaching the sales team, executing daily and weekly business objectives, and championing new selling tools and technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Support store management in analyzing business trends and executing store initiatives
  • Communicate sales and profit performance tools to the store team
  • Deliver a consistent customer experience by handling complaints and resolving service issues
  • Lead community outreach and support client development strategies
  • Participate in recruitment and interviewing to build and develop the store team
  • Provide coaching and feedback to drive talent development
  • Support team training initiatives and maintain store execution and inventory control
  • Promote use of new technologies to enable New Ways of Selling and More Ways to Shop
  • Ensure sales floor and store standards consistently exceed expectations
Requirements
  • College degree or equivalent preferred
  • Retail management or similar industry experience in a complex, high-volume or high-profile environment preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and store personnel
  • Ability to operate register, stand, move and walk for multiple hours and lift up to 30 lbs
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and possible overnight shifts and travel
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining positive working relationships
  • Business acumen with strong planning prioritization and time management skills
