A leading security organization is seeking dedicated personnel to provide exceptional customer service and security at DND sites in Sidney, British Columbia. Successful candidates will engage in various shifts, complete required training and maintain high safety standards. Qualifications

• Must possess a Government of Canada secret (level II) security clearance or have the ability to obtain one.
• Must complete the online Commissionaire Security Officer Course.
• Be willing to obtain a BC security worker's license.
• Fluent in the English language - written, verbal and reading skills.
• Comfortable using computers.
• Positive attitude with a professional demeanour.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to clients and the general public.
• Conduct security foot/mobile patrols as needed.
• Proactively respond to and resolve emergency situations and conflicts.
• Complete evacuation and emergency response procedures when necessary.
• Communicate problems or concerns to the site supervisor.
