Overview

Commissionaires BC is currently looking for a security guard to work with the less fortunate for graveyards shifts in Vernon, BC.

Position hours: Saturday & Sunday 12:30 AM - 8:30 AM

Wage: $23.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to our client and site users
• Perform regular exterior and interior patrols, including mechanical rooms
• Equipment alarm response and monitoring
• Provide access control as per site regulations, including issuing of access cards
• Investigate security incidents, escalating as necessary
• Maintains a safe environment for all personnel and the public
• Report all incidences to the Site Supervisor and provide investigation report

Your Must-Haves

• A valid BC Security License
• Fluent English written, verbal and reading skills
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills

Your Nice to Haves

• A valid Basic First Aid (OFA 1) certificate
• Prior security experience in a similar environment
