  • Install and repair complex residential and business alarm systems
  • Identify, analyze and resolve customer concerns/issues

  • Collaborate with team and other departments to deliver quality installations and service
Qualifications

What you bring

  • Previous experience providing exceptional customer service
  • Comfort with solutions-based selling, recommending products and up-selling TELUS services
  • Bondable (security clearance and criminal record check required)
  • Clean and valid Class 5 Driver's Licence without GDL or restrictions (or provincial equivalent); driver’s abstract required
  • Normal colour vision for color-coded wiring
  • Ability to handle physically demanding workload (heavy lifting, crawling in confined spaces, all weather)
  • Comfort working at heights (ladders, man lifts, scissor lifts)
  • Flexibility to work various shifts: days, evenings, weekends, holidays
  • Willingness to support customers in BC/AB as needed
  • Fluency in English with strong oral and written communication; other languages a bonus
  • Pro-activeness, good decision-making, able to work with limited supervision
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, adapt in a dynamic environment and collaborate with other departments
  • Adherence to safe work practices and safety regulations
  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning, high performance, and professional integrity
  • Strong interpersonal and team communication skills

Security/alarm installation training will be provided

Great to have
  • Post-secondary education in electronics, computers/IT or similar
  • Security Systems Technician Trades Qualified (TQ) certification
  • Electrical FSR designation
  • Previous security/alarm installation experience
