Job summary

A leading mountain resort in Ontario is hiring a Security Agent responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests and property. The role includes conducting foot and mobile patrols, responding to alarms, and providing first aid as needed. Candidates must possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License and a G Driver's License, along with a high school diploma. Previous experience in security, police, or military fields is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid Ontario Security Guard License is required.
  • Must hold a valid Ontario G Driver's License.
  • Previous Security, Police or military experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain safety and security across the resort during various times.
  • Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols to monitor resort activities.
  • Respond to alarms, noise complaints, and provide First Aid as needed.

HOURLY RATE-$21.43

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

This position is responsible for the safety and security of all guests, staff and property of the resort during the days, evenings and overnight. The Security Agent will participate in foot and vehicle patrols to survey the entire resort regularly for appropriate controls over; noise, property damage, alarm responses, trespassing, Crisis intervention and First Aid calls etc.

  • Performs regular foot and mobile security patrols both indoors and outdoors (all seasons in all types of weather).
  • Provides physical security and/or cash escorts to late night employees
  • Responds to fire and intrusion alarms
  • Responds to all noise complaints and disruptive behaviour issues notices and deal with trespassers in accordance with Provincial statues and SOPs
  • Provides First Aid/CPR/AED when required
  • Documents all incidents in the security log; Solves parking issues in accordance with Municipal By-Law and SOPs
WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME?
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be in possession of a valid Ontario Security Guard License
  • Must be in possession of a valid Ontario G Driver's License
  • Must be 19 years of age
  • Previous Security, Police and/or military experience is an asset
  • Successful completion of First Aid/CPR/AED training
