Seasonal French Bilingual Tax Expert- Canada Remote

This role involves assisting clients with their tax filings using TurboImpôt, reviewing personal tax returns, and providing guidance on tax-related questions. The position is virtual, requiring interaction via video communication tools, and involves documenting interactions for accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities include:

  • Helping clients complete their tax returns using TurboImpôt products.
  • Providing tax advice and reviewing self-prepared personal tax returns.
  • Managing product and software inquiries.
  • Utilizing government websites and team expertise to deliver accurate answers in understandable terms.
  • Interacting with customers via advanced video communication software and maintaining detailed records of interactions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years paid professional tax preparation experience.
  • Ability to provide CRA RepID and use CRA's Represent a Client service.
  • Experience with complex personal tax returns, including employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, foreign income, and various credits/deductions.
  • Strong customer service skills, with a professional, friendly, and confident demeanor during video interactions.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule of at least 20 hours per week.

Additional Asset Qualifications:

  • Experience preparing Business (T2) and Quebec (TP1) tax returns.

Skills & Abilities:
