Overview
The Scrum Master / Senior Business Analyst will support the Housing New Brunswick (HNB) Loans Project by implementing a scanning and document management solution integrated with the existing HNB COTS system.
The role involves leading Agile/Scrum activities, gathering and analyzing requirements, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, and ensuring successful deployment of the solution.
Key Responsibilities – Scrum Master
- Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Standups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Create and maintain the product backlog and participate in release planning.
- Plan and estimate work items including user stories, tasks, and sprint backlogs.
- Provide regular status updates to project leadership and the Steering Committee.
- Support implementation and rollout of the scanning/document management solution.
- Ensure coordination across project teams, including QA, Change Management, and Training.
Key Responsibilities – Business Analyst
- Analyze current scanning and document management options and evaluate potential alternatives.
- Gather and document business and technical requirements.
- Identify issues, risks, and dependencies for proposed solutions.
- Collaborate with QA teams to support User Acceptance Testing.
- Assist in the creation of SOPs, “how-to” guides, and supporting documentation for end users.
- Provide implementation support for integrating the solution with the existing HNB COTS system.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related discipline; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Business Analyst supporting information systems for service delivery.
- Minimum 3 years of experience on projects involving scanning and document management solutions integrated with existing IT systems (e.g., ConsignO, OpenText Content Manager).
- Minimum 2 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master.
