Senior Analyst, Compensation and Data Insights – Full Time, Hybrid – Toronto

Lifemark has facilities in nine provinces providing integrated health, employer services, medical assessments, and rehabilitation services across Canada. Lifemark employs over 5,000 clinical practitioners and client service support staff.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Total Rewards, the Senior Analyst, Compensation & Data Insights plays a critical role in advancing Lifemark Health Group’s multi-year compensation simplification strategy. This role will report dually to the Senior Manager, Compensation and Transformation Lead. The Senior Analyst will provide the analytical foundation needed to deliver on a 3-year roadmap to simplify compensation programs, improve data integrity, and enable leaders to make consistent, data-driven pay decisions.

How you'll make an impact
  • Support the design, delivery, and execution of a 3-year compensation simplification roadmap, using data to streamline structures, processes, and policies.
  • Collect, clean, and analyze large data sets related to pay, incentives, and benefits across multiple systems (HRIS, payroll, survey data).
  • Build dashboards and reporting tools that track compensation trends, pay equity, and program effectiveness.
  • Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities in current compensation structures and recommend data-driven solutions.
  • Partner with Operations, HR, and Finance leaders to translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Support annual compensation cycles by preparing data, validating outcomes, and ensuring consistency with established guidelines.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis to leadership to inform decision-making around pay practices, retention strategies, and workforce planning.
  • Stay informed on compensation market practices and trends, ensuring Lifemark’s approach is competitive and sustainable.
What you'll bring to the role
  • University degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in compensation analytics, HR analytics, or a related data analyst role.
  • Strong background in analyzing compensation and rewards data, with experience supporting pay program design and delivery.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) and HRIS systems (ADP, Workday) preferred.
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools (SQL, Python, R) considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to manipulate large data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proven ability to explain complex analyses to business and HR leaders.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset.
