Job summary

A mining company located in Kivalliq Region is seeking skilled operators for equipment including haul trucks. The ideal candidate will have a valid mining certification and significant experience operating haul trucks. Responsibilities include daily inspections of equipment and ensuring health and safety standards are maintained. Qualifications

• Proven experience on Haul Truck 30T and 50T equipment.
• Minimum of 1000 hours of experience on Haul Truck equipment.
• Valid approval letter under the explosives regulations.

• Inspect working equipment on a daily basis.

• Operate lube truck and boom truck equipment;
• Inspect working equipment on a daily basis;
• Inspect working environment by scaling rocks;
• Ensure health and safety requirements are met;
• Operate other equipment associated to the production category, as required;
• Obtain certification on other equipment associated to the production category, as required.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Proven experience on Haul Truck 30T and 50T equipment;
• Minimum of 1000 hours of experience on Haul Truck equipment;
• High School Diploma;
• NAC Certification or DEP in Mineral Extraction, or equivalent;
• Underground certification or equivalent such as Mining Modules and Common Core is considered an asset;
• Valid approval letter under the explosives regulations or equivalent, such as explosives permit;
• Certification on other equipment in the production category, is considered an asset.
