CGC Inc. is currently recruiting a Sales Representative for our Sales team in Quebec based in Quebec City. It's a permanent and full-time position, offering a challenging opportunity for a motivated individual to demonstrate their sales and technical abilities.

Position Summary

This is a challenging opportunity for a motivated individual to demonstrate their selling and customer service skills in a fast-paced sales environment. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for promotion, sales and service of our products to dealers, distributors and contractors.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Increase sales by coordinating and executing training with store associates / service teams on CGC products, thereby increasing name recognition, product knowledge and CGC loyalty.
  • Grow sales volumes by building relationships and providing the required support to dealers, distributors and contractors.
  • Influence customer loyalty by delivering a high level of customer service via proactive customer contact, industry knowledge and networking, product training, deep technical product knowledge, large project coordination, job quotes and prompt complaint resolution.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal departments including marketing, distribution, customer service and accounting.
  • Work within general guidelines and procedures, exercising independent judgment while prioritizing safety, quality, reliability and customer service.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, public speaking and customer service skills. Bilingual French / English required.
  • 1-3 years customer service / sales experience; preferably within the home improvement, building materials or construction industry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Must be a people and results-oriented individual who emphasizes safety and quality in all aspects of the daily work environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently with a sense of urgency and a high level of customer focus.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills. Proficient with MS Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Overnight travel is required to effectively cover sales territory.
