About Role

The Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing a portfolio of accounts, and representing the company’s flooring products and services to clients. This client-facing role focuses on fostering long-term partnerships with retailers, dealers, builders, and contractors while executing sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.


Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Relationship



  • Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities in assigned territories within the flooring and construction industries.

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, including retailers, homebuilders, contractors, designers, and flooring dealers. Conduct on-site visits to client locations to understand their needs and present tailored product solutions.

  • Provide Marketing support (campaigns, presentations, content, media) tailored to business development initiatives.


Sales Execution & Revenue Generation



  • Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations that align with customer requirements and current trends in flooring.

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets as defined by the company.

  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing and follow-up support.


Market Intelligence & Strategic Outreach



  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to inform sales strategies and improve product offerings.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote brand visibility and generate qualified leads.


Operational Coordination & Reporting



  • Collaborate with the operations and logistics team to ensure timely order processing, fulfillment, and delivery.

  • Maintain accurate sales records and client information in the company’s ERP/CRM system.

  • Provide timely and detailed sales reports and forecasting data to management.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's or College’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or related fields

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the flooring, construction, or building materials industry.

  • Proven track record of securing deals and managing partnerships with wholesalers/retailers is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, customer relationship management.

  • Ability to work independently, manage a field-based schedule, and travel across assigned regions.

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in using ERP/CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
