Position Overview

The Sales Manager at Calian Agriculture is a key member of the management team, responsible for driving market growth and managing the dealer network. The role focuses on expanding sales of the Bin-Sense product line across Canada and the northern United States by supporting existing dealers and identifying new distribution opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Drive overall sales growth of Bin-Sense in Canada and Northern US.
  • Manage and support the dealer network, including onboarding and training.
  • Identify and recruit new distribution channels and dealers.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Support teams to develop sales strategies and dealer programs.
  • Lead sales forecasting and execution using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Develop and recommend changes to pricing models and dealer programs.
  • Represent Calian Agriculture at tradeshows and external events.
  • Provide customer support, product recommendations, and training.
  • Deliver market insights and feedback to senior leadership.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in business development, marketing, or client relationship roles.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized with solid time management and decision-making abilities.
  • Valid Canadian driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel across Canada and the US for sales meetings and events.
Additional Requirements
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Ability to interpret sales data and make strategic, data-driven decisions.
  • Capable of conflict resolution, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration.
