Job Description

Our TorontoJobs.ca client, located in North York in the food industry, is seeking a self-motivated Sales Administrator to support their sales and administrative operations. Initially, this is a temporary position to fill an immediate vacancy, but the role may evolve into a full-time role. This position works in North York and directly supports the U.S.-based sales team. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proficient with data, and can handle a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Deductions: Analyze and process customer deductions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
  • Order Management: Oversee the order preparation and ensure orders are properly arranged with Canada Post.
  • Sales-Related Administration: Assist with invoicing and provide administrative support to the sales team.
  • Shopify Store Management: Manage order fulfillment and ensure smooth operations for the Shopify store. Coordinate orders with the on-site trailer that includes street sales and Canada Post services.
  • Reporting: Regular reporting to U.S.-based sales management.
  • Self-Starter: Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Data Management: Handle administrative tasks involving data, spreadsheets, and computer operations.
  • Broker Relations: Engage more directly with brokers and provide support to the sales team.
  • Sales Involvement: Take a more active role in sales administration and customer interactions.
  • Data Analysis: Use spreadsheets and data management tools for tracking and reporting sales activities.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in sales administration or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong proficiency with spreadsheets and computer-based data analysis.
