RQ00468 - Specialized IT Consultant - Senior

Background Information:

Ontario Health is seeking a senior specialized IT consultant to help the advancement of its current data management practices. This project to support the utilization of tools (e.g. informatica) and develop an implementation approach for metadata management at Ontario Health (OH). Additionally, this project will assess the connections between any recommended implementation approach/tools with the development of an updated OIDs/URIs database (Object Identifiers Database). Outputs from this project include improving data quality and consistency, supporting interoperability, enabling effective data governance, facilitating collaboration, and driving strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities
  • Working in collaboration with cross-functional teams—including clinical, product, and development stakeholders to advance the development of a Digital Health Data Dictionary (DHDD).
  • Provide strategic guidance to support the implementation of a metadata management tool proof of concept.
Must Haves
  • 7+ years Experience working across cross-functional teams—including clinical, product, and development stakeholders.
  • 7+ years Experience in developing processes and procedures for implementing deliverables related to metadata management.
  • 7+ years Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices.
  • 7+ years Excellent Communication skills both verbal and written, and strong partner engagement skills.
