Job summary

A healthcare staffing agency is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to offer nursing care and medication administration. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in long-term care and will be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario. This casual on-call role includes various shifts and offers a pay rate of $45.95 per hour.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse must have at least 1 year of related experience, preferably in long-term care or geriatric settings.
• Must pass a Police Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Proof of a valid TB test required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care based on the Gentle care philosophy
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing care within your scope of practice
• Oversee and manage care plans
• Follow physician orders to ensure comprehensive nursing care
• Foster a safe and comfortable environment for all residents
• Demonstrate expertise in using nursing care equipment
• Work with the medical team, specialists, and consultants to ensure effective clinical care for residents
• Administer medications (Med Pass)
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience (preferably in long-term care or a geriatric setting)
• Current CPR certification
• Satisfactory Police Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Check
• Proof of a valid TB test (within last year)
• CNO registration
