Job description
Rheumatology Practice opportunity

We are seeking a Rheumatologist to establish an outpatient practice in a collaborative and collegial environment. This is an excellent opportunity for new graduates or locums looking for a supportive environment with minimal hospital consultation responsibilities. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team and enjoy a strong social network within the community and region.

The patient population will consist exclusively of adults with a broad range of rheumatologic conditions. You can expect approximately 10 new referrals per day and a patient panel in the range of 500 to 1,000 individuals, though these numbers are estimates and may vary. Clinical responsibilities will include consultations for inflammatory conditions, joint aspirations and injections, and advanced therapeutics. You will also participate in multidisciplinary rounds and have access to subspecialty support, along with a network of seven experienced rheumatologists in the community.

Teaching can be incorporated if desired, while research involvement is not required. You will secure your own office space and enjoy a collegial environment with the flexibility to shape your practice to fit your vision. This position is ideal for a generalized rheumatologist who enjoys managing a broad spectrum of conditions.

If you are looking for a rewarding role with autonomy and strong professional support, we would love to hear from you.
