The Director works cross-functionally to ensure data-driven strategies translate into measurable financial outcomes and operational improvements.

What You'll Do
  • Develop analytical frameworks that optimize pricing, margins, and revenue yield across the SME portfolio.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance pricing models that support automated and scalable decision-making.
  • Conduct elasticity modeling, margin analysis, and in-market testing to inform pricing recommendations that balance competitiveness and profitability.
  • Identify and quantify revenue opportunities across the portfolio, including pricing adjustments, fee strategies, product mix optimization, and customer segmentation.
  • Oversee the development of dashboards, reporting suites, and performance metrics related to sales funnel, credit outcomes, pricing effectiveness, and portfolio profitability.
  • Analyze delinquency, loss trends, approval rates, yields, and other KPIs to identify performance drivers and recommend proactive interventions.
  • Support research into emerging and alternative data sources (e.g., telematics, vehicle usage) that can enhance risk and revenue models.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage advanced analytics and AI/ML tools to strengthen forecasting, pricing, and decision automation.
  • Partner with Data Engineering and Technology teams to ensure Element’s data infrastructure can ingest, transform, and operationalize data from new external vendors, enabling its use in pricing, credit, and AI-driven models.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Science, Engineering, or a related field with strong quantitative foundations.
  • 8 – 10 years of experience in analytics, pricing, revenue management, risk modeling, or related functions.
  • Demonstrated experience building and interpreting financial, pricing, or risk models.
  • Strong understanding of credit underwriting, asset finance, or SME lending economics.
  • Proven ability to translate complex analytics into business strategies and executive-ready insights.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong enterprise mindset and financial acumen, with the ability to leverage strategic data analysis to inform business decisions and drive profitable growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to transition seamlessly between strategic thinking and hands‑on analytical execution to advance pricing, credit, and revenue optimization objectives.
  • Critical thinker who can develop innovative, data-driven solutions to meet evolving client needs and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Strong understanding of current analytical technologies, AI/ML tools, and data solutions that can accelerate decision-making and improve portfolio performance.
  • Proven ability to act as a change leader – driving innovation, influencing stakeholders across Sales, Product, Finance, and Risk, and improving performance outcomes through collaboration.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to distill complex analytics into clear, compelling insights for senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders.
